Intermediates

Once pupils have been learning for a number of years and have progressed through the early levels of learning, they are able to take advantage of wider opportunities to share their playing with others. They can take Graded exams though Trinity College, and perform and compete in the Kent and North Kent Festivals.

Lessons for intermediate pupils are designed for their strengths and interests. Pupils can learn a wide range of repertoire from classical to pop, and will continue to build all round skills in improvisation and compositon. Group lessons take place to give them the opportunity to work on theory and learn duet and trio ensembles.

Intermediate lessons can be 30, 45 or 60 minutes long, and take place once a week.
